Replacing ventilation filters
The recommended service interval for filter replacement is roughly 3 months, i.e. four times a year. This interval can be extended to two or even three times that length when outdoor-air intake pre-filters are used. For equipment exposed to extreme dust levels (intake near a road, industrial premises, etc.) it may, on the contrary, need to be halved.
We supply filters for ventilation equipment from DELBAG, Atrea, Systemair and Elektrodesign.
We replace filter fabrics, filter cartridges, bag filters and HEPA filters. A clogged filter increases energy consumption, restricts airflow and shortens the lifetime of ventilation equipment.
Types of filters
Coarse filters (G1–G4)
Capture larger dust particles and impurities. Used as pre-filters in ventilation units and air conditioners.
Medium filters (M5–M6)
Capture pollen, larger allergens and fine dust. Suitable for office buildings and commercial premises.
Fine filters (F7–F9)
Capture fine dust, most pollen and microorganisms. The standard for modern heat-recovery units in flats and family houses.
HEPA filters (H13–H14)
Capture 99.95–99.995 % of all particles including viruses and bacteria. Used in hospitals, laboratories and clean-room facilities.
